These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Forge. By downloading, installing, or using the Forge application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Forge mobile application ("App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
These Terms apply to all users of the App, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, merchants, vendors, and/or contributors of content.
Agreement to Terms: Your use of the App constitutes your agreement to these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2 Eligibility
To use Forge, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
👤 Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
⚖️ Legal Capacity
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
🚫 Not Previously Banned
You must not have been previously suspended or removed from the App for violating these Terms.
🌍 Geographic Restrictions
You must not be located in a country that is subject to a U.S. government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. government as a "terrorist supporting" country.
3 Account Registration & Security
To access certain features of Forge, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
Accurate Information
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account information updated.
Account Security
Maintain the security of your account by protecting your password and restricting access to your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Notification of Breach
Promptly notify us at security@forgeapp.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
One Account Per Person
Maintain only one account per person. Creating multiple accounts may result in termination of all accounts.
Sign in with Apple: If you use Sign in with Apple, you agree to Apple's terms of service for that feature. We may receive your email address (or a private relay email) and your name as part of the authentication process.
4 License to Use the App
Grant of License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Forge grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
License Restrictions
You may NOT:
- ✕ Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion thereof
- ✕ Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
- ✕ Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the App to any third party
- ✕ Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the App
- ✕ Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- ✕ Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
- ✕ Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems
5 User Content
"User Content" refers to any content you create, upload, or store within the App, including but not limited to goals, tasks, ideas, experiments, financial data, notes, and resources.
✓ Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. Forge does not claim ownership over any User Content you create or store in the App.
📄 License to Forge
By using the App, you grant Forge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's services to you. This license terminates when you delete your User Content or account.
🛡️ Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or storing it. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize Forge to use your User Content.
💾 Backup Responsibility
While we implement robust data protection measures, you are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of your User Content. Forge is not liable for any loss of User Content.
6 Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Forge only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
Prohibited Activities
- ✕ Use the App in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
- ✕ Store or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- ✕ Impersonate or attempt to impersonate Forge, a Forge employee, another user, or any other person or entity
- ✕ Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the App
- ✕ Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access the App for any purpose
- ✕ Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful
- ✕ Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the App or any activities conducted on the App
- ✕ Use the App to store or transmit content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate termination of your account and access to the App.
7 Subscriptions & Payments
Apple App Store: All purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. Apple's terms and conditions apply to all transactions.
Free Features
Forge offers certain features at no cost. We reserve the right to change which features are included in the free tier at any time.
Premium Subscriptions
Premium features may be available through auto-renewing subscriptions. Subscription prices and terms are displayed in the App and on the App Store before purchase.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection). Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, please contact Apple directly through their App Store support.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following the date of the price change. Your continued use of the App after the price change constitutes your agreement to pay the modified amount.
8 Intellectual Property Rights
Forge's Intellectual Property
The App and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, graphics, video, audio, design, selection, and arrangement) are owned by Forge, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
Trademarks: "Forge," the Forge logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Forge. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission.
Copyright: All content, design elements, and code within the App are protected by copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
Feedback: If you provide any feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant Forge the right to use such feedback without restriction and without compensation to you.
9 Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services, websites, or applications that are not owned or controlled by Forge.
Supabase
Database, authentication, and real-time sync services. Subject to Supabase's terms of service.
Apple Services
App distribution, in-app purchases, push notifications, and Sign in with Apple. Subject to Apple's terms of service.
Forge has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of those services.
10 Disclaimers
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
Forge does not warrant that:
- • The App will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location
- • Any errors or defects will be corrected
- • The App is free of viruses or other harmful components
- • The results of using the App will meet your requirements
No Professional Advice
The App is a productivity and organization tool. The features including the Venture Health Score, financial tracking, and Smart Confrontation System are designed to help you organize and track your activities. They do not constitute professional financial, legal, medical, or psychological advice. Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions.
11 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FORGE, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP.
This limitation applies to:
- • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content
- • Personal injury or property damage resulting from your use of the App
- • Unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App
- • Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted through the App
- • Any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of your use of the App
Maximum Liability: In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the App exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
12 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Forge, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- • Your violation of these Terms
- • Your User Content
- • Your use of the App
- • Your violation of any rights of a third party
13 Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the App settings (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting us at support@forgeapp.com.
Termination by Forge
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
Effects of Termination
- • Your access to the App will be revoked
- • Your User Content will be deleted within 30 days
- • Any active subscriptions will be canceled
- • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability)
14 Modifications to Service & Terms
Changes to the App
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the App or any service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to you.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the terms.
How We'll Notify You: We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification and/or email to your registered email address. The "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms will also be revised.
15 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
16 Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim against Forge, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@forgeapp.com. We'll try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting you via email. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of submission, you or Forge may bring a formal proceeding.
Arbitration Agreement
You and Forge agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules, except as provided below.
Class Action Waiver
YOU AND FORGE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Exceptions
Either party may bring a lawsuit solely for injunctive relief to stop unauthorized use or abuse of the App, or intellectual property infringement, without first engaging in arbitration or the informal dispute resolution process described above.
17 General Provisions
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Forge regarding your use of the App.
Waiver: No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
Force Majeure: Forge shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
No Third-Party Beneficiaries: Except as explicitly stated (such as Apple being a third-party beneficiary as described below), these Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.
Headings: The section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
🍎 Apple-Specific Terms
The following terms apply when you download the App from the Apple App Store:
18.1 Acknowledgment
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Forge only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Forge, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
18.2 Scope of License
The license granted to you for the App is a limited, non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms of Service.
18.3 Maintenance and Support
Forge is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the App, as specified in these Terms or as required under applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.
18.4 Warranty
Forge is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
18.5 Product Claims
Forge, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
18.6 Intellectual Property Claims
In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your use of the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Forge, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
18.7 Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
18.8 Third-Party Beneficiary
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
